After experiencing international missions in the traditional sense and seeing the world and "aid" first hand, I wanted to know more about how to help without hurting. I pursued my Master of Arts in International Community Development. My passion is in partnering with community based organizations in honoring what God is doing in the world.
Originally from South Dakota, I currently live in Seattle, WA. My only daughter is in college and I am navigating the empty nest life! I love yoga, traveling, speaking French, and spending time with friends and family.

Before being part of Covenant International, I had the privilege of serving with Mercy Ships in eight different African countries over six and a half years. My goal is to see underprivileged children's lives improve in whatever way God provides. I am also motivated by how much God has been faithful to me.
I was born and raised in Paynesville, Liberia and am currently living in Saint Paul, Minnesota with my wife and son. I enjoy getting out on the Minnesota lakes whenever I can find time for some fishing.

I currently live in St. Paul with my husband and our son. My husband and I met while we were serving in West Africa with Mercy Ships where I served as a RN in the surgical wards.
Eddie and I married in Jan 2013 at Eddie’s home church in Liberia. We continued serving on the Africa Mercy until moving to MN in May of 2014 to be near my family. I have worked for the last 9 years as a Hospice RN. I count it an honor to comfort the dying and support families during this life event.
I look forward to supporting and learning with Covenant International as we develop partnerships in Liberia and beyond. I want to continue to be willing to grow in my faith and share what I have learned along the way.

While still in high school, I took my first 'mission trip' to Tijuana. Since then, I have supported or participated in a variety of missions both here in the US and abroad. Through these experiences, my eyes have been opened to the physical and spiritual needs of many and the challenges in engaging in meaningful ways. Combine this with my undergraduate studies in history, and a particular interest in post-colonial Africa, and I was excited to partner with Covenant International and its launch.
I wear many hats: wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, teacher, and coach, among others. I have been homeschooling my three children for more than a decade, and seek to live out and instill in them the words of Micah 6:8, "do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with your God."

I live and work just outside of New York City, practicing law and raising two kids with my husband, Sven. Prior to this stage of my life, I spent a lot of time volunteering, from rebuilding homes after hurricane Katrina, to living for 6 months at a child sponsorship nonprofit in the Philippines, to calling weekly bingo at a nursing home in Manhattan for 2 years! I look forward to being a part of this new, innovative endeavor and excited to see how God uses us to help others through this charitable organization!

I received my primary and secondary education in Paynesville, Liberia where I was also born and raised. In Paynesville,I also met my now beautiful wife in 2002 and got married in 2011, and we were blessed to have our first daughter in 2012. I became a full member of Covenant House Ministry located in Paynesville, Liberia in 2008 where I worshiped with my wife. In 2016 we had the opportunity to move to the US and settle down in Springfield, Massachusetts, Here we had an additional three children, a girl and two boys.
Looking back and imagining how much God has been a blessing to me and my family, all I keep asking God is how can I be a blessing to the less fortunate children? And now, being a partner of Covenant International, is exactly the answer to that question I've been asking. I am compelled and propelled to help the less fortunate children by the countless blessings of God in my life.
During my free time as a family oriented person, I love hanging out with my nuclear family; having family time in our home, taking a road trip, and most importantly, fishing on smaller lakes in the nearby towns and on the Connecticut River that runs through Massachusetts by means of Springfield.
